Junior Asset Manager (International Portfolio)

Functie omschrijving

Reporting to a Senior Asset Manager, you will support the management of commercial portfolios consisting of office, retail, hotel, industrial, healthcare, and logistics assets located in various countries across Europe. This role will be diverse and dynamic, providing exposure to different aspects of the business. You will have the opportunity to grow within the role and expand your responsibilities. Your main activities and tasks will specifically include:

• Integrate acquired assets into the portfolio, set up and maintain buildings in Yardi, actively monitor and anticipate critical events, i.e. acquisitions, lease commencements, expirations, renewals. 
• Maintain up-to-date property data and analyses of property performance and indicators (vacancy rate, rent collection rate, rental trends, lease expirations, etc.). 
• Provide administrative support such as rent billing, collection of overdue rent, etc. 
• Tenant management 
  • Ensure the follow-up of the tenants, their needs and their demands in order to maintain a long lasting and high quality relationship. 
  • Accounting. 
  • Support with implementing relocation strategies and follow-up of mandates. 
  • Support with negotiating of financial and legal conditions of leases.
• Technical management 
  • Follow technical stakeholders if works are done. 
  • Definition and implementation of technical projects to improve the assets. 
  • Service charge reconciliations.
• Appraisals.
• Financial modeling of a property strategy on real estate assets.
• Identification of value creation opportunities.

Functie eisen

• Relevant business school or engineering degree (preferably with Real Estate specialization);
• 1-3 years’ professional work experience (you are trained in the real estate sector and have a good knowledge of the following sectors: asset management, real estate investment, real estate asset management);
• Proactivity, curiosity and autonomy;
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary due to high level of interaction within the company but also with external stakeholders;
• Precision, rigor and organizational skills;
• Entrepreneurial spirit with multidisciplinary skills;
• Excellent excel/microsoft skills;
• Involvement and availability to travel;
• Fluent in English is a requirement and also Dutch is an advantage, fluency in other languages a plus.

Terms of Employment

• Full time;
• Based in Amsterdam;
• International travel will form part of the role.
