Job Description

As Asset Manager you will be an important member of the team. In this role you will be an important link between ARC Real Estate Partners, and their international investors.

You will have very regular interaction with the property manager to safeguard a proper maintenance and capex plans of the portfolio (office, light industrial, and logistics assets located in the Netherlands). You will have regular contact with the tenants to identify opportunities with the main goal to monitor, improve and ultimately optimise the performance of the assets from a commercial and technical point of view.

Your role will be very diverse and dynamic and you will be exposed to different sides of the business. You will be in direct contact with our clients and you will be able to grow into the job and expand your responsibilities. Your main activities and tasks will mainly consist of:

  • Manage tenants, their needs and their demands in order to maintain a long-lasting and high quality relationship.
  • Monitoring and anticipating on critical events, i.e. acquisitions, rent commencements, expirations, renewals.
  • Financial modeling of subjected business plans to define several scenarios applied to a building or a portfolio.
  • Setting up and coordinating marketing mandates including negotiating new leases and renewals with tenants.
  • Participating and coordinating divestment of assets;
  • Oversee and coordinate in-country Property Managers, Lawyers, Technical Advisors and other third party collaborators. 
  • Keep up to date real estate data and analysis of real estate performance and indicators (vacancy rate, rent collection rate, rent trends, lease expiry, etc.).;
  • Creation, monitoring and reporting on: business plans, budgets, forecasts.
  • Identify the best way to optimize each asset, creating diversified plans, and look for and exploit opportunities to add value in our portfolio and asset management performance.
  • Technical and regulatory management of buildings.
  • Visit properties to meet with tenants and inspect the properties conditions to follow up with contractors on the CAPEX and maintenance plans.
  • Representation of the owner at general meetings and with co-owners.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in the field of real estate, investment, business administration/economics, engineering or similar.
  • Two to five years of relevant experience in real estate management in the Netherlands.
  • Combination of commercial skills and (high-level) technical understanding of property life cycles and ability to manage / monitor processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary due to high level of interaction within the company but also with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Flexible, proactive / self-starter, entrepreneurial, and can-do attitude.
