Job Description
Our client is a well-known Industrial Real estate developer with international activities and an established office in Amsterdam. Due to the continued expansion of the activities, they are currently hiring a Property Manager.
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties.
- Conduct regular property inspections and visitations with tenants.
- Design business plans for assigned properties that suit customers’ needs.
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards.
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants.
- Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
- Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants.
- Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses.
- Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data and trends.
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance.
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance.
- Prepare and submit assigned reporting to management and investors.
- Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities.
- Complete other special projects and duties as assigned
- Update job and market knowledge.
Requirements
Educational background
Degree in engineering or architecture ideally with additional skill in real estate management.
Professional experience
- Relevant minimum 4 years’ of real estate experience as a technical property manager or project manager of commercial real estate.
- Good comprehension of building equipment.
- Experience in planning, implementing a tender procedure, project management, property appraisal and remedy of defects.
- The ability to coordinate several external companies involved in the technical asset management process.
- Ability to work autonomously, to take initiatives, proactive.
- Flexibility and resilience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English is necessary.
