Our client is an international real estate fund, in this position you will work closely with the asset management and fund team and be responsible for a real estate portfolio located in the BENELUX.
We are looking for a proactive and analytical team player to join our asset management team focused on logistics real estate. In this role, you will support the execution of asset strategies, work on leasing and redevelopment projects, and help drive value across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, redevelopment, and value enhancement initiatives.
Support commercial processes such as negotiations with tenants, property viewings, lease drafting in collaboration with legal advisors, and managing third-party agreements.
Build strong relationships with tenants to understand their operations and identify opportunities to align with their evolving needs.
Contribute to marketing efforts for available properties, both directly to potential occupiers and through broader market channels.
Coordinate with external stakeholders including brokers, local authorities, and advisors.
Collaborate with third-party property managers and project managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Support the integration of ESG initiatives into asset management practices.
Participate in performance tracking and reporting activities for the regional portfolio, in close cooperation with senior asset managers and internal teams.
Conduct regular site visits and meetings with tenants and prospects, and log insights in the CRM system.
Identify potential risks in assets and contribute to mitigation plans as part of the annual strategy cycle.
Assist with financial modeling, investment analysis, and investor reporting.
Provide support during acquisition and disposal processes.
Contribute to sourcing new investment opportunities via market research and networking.
Assist in onboarding newly acquired assets in close coordination with the investment and fund management teams.
Strong financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Familiarity with real estate valuation, leasing structures, and investment analysis.
Ability to execute strategic plans by coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Curious, eager to learn, and motivated by a strong interest in real estate and investment.
Commercially minded with a collaborative, hands-on attitude.
Experience with leasing and transactions in the logistics sector is an advantage.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
1–2 years of professional experience in real estate, preferably in the logistics segment.
Fluent in both Dutch and English.
Work Environment:
This is an office-based role with regular travel to properties across the region (approximately 20% of the time).
