Due to continued growth in assets under management, a Junior Asset Manager position has become available in the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam.

The role
The Junior Asset Manager supports the Asset Management team in the operational, financial and strategic management of a diversified real estate portfolio. Working closely with senior Asset Managers, the role contributes directly to tenant satisfaction, asset performance and long-term value creation.

You will perform the functions of Junior Asset Manager, working directly under the Asset Managers and support them on:

• Integrate acquired assets into the portfolio, set up and maintain buildings in Yardi (our Real Estate management ERP software), actively monitor and anticipate critical events, including acquisitions, lease commencements, expirations, renewals;
• Maintain up-to-date property data and analyses of property performance and indicators (vacancy rate, rent collection rate, rental trends, lease expirations, etc.);
• Provide administrative support such as rent billing, collection of overdue rent, etc.

Tenant management

• Ensure the follow-up of the tenants, their needs and their demands in order to maintain a long-lasting and high quality relationship;
• Accounting
• Support with implementing relocation strategies and follow-up of mandates
• Support with negotiating financial and legal conditions of leases

Technical management

• Follow technical stakeholders if works are done
• Definition and implementation of technical projects to improve the assets
• Service charge reconciliations

Appraisals

• Financial modeling of a property strategy on real estate assets
• Identification of value creation opportunities

In general, you will contribute to the operation and development of the Asset Management department.

Profile

• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in real estate, asset management, finance or a related field;
• Ability to combine financial insight with real estate knowledge and coordination of third parties;
• Strong sense of responsibility, analytical mindset and attention to detail;
• Autonomous, proactive and able to work effectively within a team;
• Motivated to join a dynamic, innovative and entrepreneurial organization with an international scope;
• This role is broad and offers strong learning and development opportunities in a growing company.

Soft skills

• Fluent in English (spoken and written);
• Fluent in Dutch is mandatory.
