Renewable Energy Manager – Real Estate

About this position

• Conduct technical and financial feasibility studies for renewable energy projects
• Develop business cases and prepare investment proposals
• Present investment opportunities to senior management and the Board of Directors
• Manage the development of PV systems and EV charging infrastructure
• Coordinate renewable energy projects from concept through implementation
• Monitor and optimize the operational performance of renewable energy assets
• Manage operations and maintenance (O&M) partners and contractors
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analyses
• Monitor financial performance, cash flow and project returns
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial and regulatory risks
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations and industry standards
• Prepare performance and compliance reports for management and stakeholders
• Identify new renewable energy investment opportunities
• Support due diligence activities for new investments

Requirements

• Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Sustainability or Real Estate
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in renewable energy development and project management
• Knowledge of the Dutch energy market
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with feasibility studies and financial analysis
• Experience with the development of photovoltaic or other renewable energy projects

Preferred

• Knowledge of the German and French energy markets
• Experience within commercial real estate or property management
• Experience with financial modelling and investment analysis
• Experience performing due diligence for renewable energy investments
• Experience with photovoltaic (PV) development projects
• Affinity with the commercial real estate sector
